(Avoca) The first of several community meetings explaining the AHSTW School District Bond Referendum was held Monday evening.
AHSTW Superintendent Darin Jones said they are proposing two referendum questions on the November 2nd ballot. He said the first question asks for 12.9 million dollars. The scope of that project includes ADA accessibility improvements, fire suppression/sprinkler systems throughout the school, LED lighting, HVAC systems and renovations of the High School section of the building.
Jones said the second question asks for $6,750,000 for an Auditorium space.
