(Cass County) An eastern Iowa man suffered minor injuries when his car struck the back of a semi-trailer on Interstate 80 in Cass County.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on Wednesday when an eastbound 2015 Ford Fusion driven by Trevor Dean Bennett of Davenport struck the back of an eastbound semi-tractor trailer braking causing Bennett to hit the back of the trailer. The semi didn’t stop. Cass EMS transported Trevor Bennett to the Cass County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Cass County Deputies responded on September 19 to an accident at Highway 71 and I-80. A 2017 Freightliner semi and driven by Changaze Khan of Stockton, California, failed to yield, striking the rear driver’s side trailer of a 2009 Mack semi-truck traveling southbound on Highway 71 and driven by Richard Allan Hansen of Audubon. Medics treated Khan at the scene for minor injuries.
