(Corning) Southwest Valley School Superintendent Chris Fenster introduced Timber, one of the school’s therapy dogs, during his weekly Facebook live address on Friday.
Fenster said they are in a year of experimenting with the therapy dogs to see if it works. Timber’s handler is School Nurse Darcy Dalton and she spoke about what this program is all about.
Fenster said the therapy dogs are only on the west side of the campus right now, but they are hoping to get them on the east side of the campus next year.
