(Pella, IA) — Vermeer Manufacturing is expanding its corporate headquarters in Pella. The Iowa Economic Development Authority approved more than two-point-two million dollars in tax refunds and credits last month for the expansion. Company officials estimate the 44-million-dollar project will add 100 new jobs to the local economy. Vermeer makes industrial and agricultural machines. It broke ground last week on a 312-thousand square-foot distribution center.
