(Atlantic) A free fireworks display will be available in Atlantic on June 12th. The City Council approved a request from Wild Willy’s to hold a demonstration at the Little League Diamonds.
Multiple council members expressed their support of the idea. The time slot approved is from 8-10 p.m. Mark O’Brien says, “That’s the time slot I’m asking for because I don’t know what time it’s going to get dark or if it’ll be a cloudy day or a sunny day. I would say the fireworks show will last about 45 minutes.”
The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are lined up to clean up after the event.
