(Washington, DC) — Congresswoman Cindy Axne says President Biden’s nearly four-trillion-dollar plan will fix bridges, improve child care, bolster energy grids and extend high-speed internet to rural areas. The Iowa Democrat says Iowa roads and bridges have to be addressed. She says almost five-thousand bridges need repairs. Axne says the richest one-third of one percent of taxpayers will fund the ambitious program. The bill is in the House of Representatives now and Axne says the goal is to get it over to the Senate by the end of next month.
