Bryan Hayes, Fisheries Biologist with the Iowa DNR, said there has already been some ice fishing activity underway.
Hayes said to remember to be cautious on the ice since it is not uniform across the water bodies. You can check the weekly DNR fishing report for ice conditions at iowadnr.gov.
