(Des Moines) Iowa House District 21 Representative Tom Moore said on Tuesday the Republicans caucused immediately after gaveling in.
Moore said he was assigned a bill in the education committee that would remove the requirement for new school buses to have seat belts. In the Human Resources committee, he will manage a bill introduced that would allow audio-only telehealth calls (HF88).
Moore said over the past two days he has spent a significant amount of time gaining information about House Study Bill 55.
Moore said in the Human Resources Committee they heard a child care presentation from the Department of Human Services.
Moore also noted that on Thursday they had floor debate on House Rules for 2021. Those rules passed by a party line vote of 55-35.
