The Tigers fall to 0-2 in conference tourney pool play. McKenna Wiechman scored 9 points and was 3/4 from three point range. Kalainee Teaney had 8 points and 7 rebounds. Josie Mundorf scored 8.
Nodaway Valley 79, SW Valley 42
Class 2A #5 Nodaway Valley improves to 12-0. Macy Kuhns scored ten of her team high 18 points in the first quarter and made a big impact defensively. Lindsey Davis scored eight quick points early in the 2nd quarter on her way to a 17 point night. Maddax DeVault and Lexi Shike also scored in double figures.
IKM-Manning 64, Riverside 25
Emily Brown was 4/6 from the field and scored 10 points for the Lady Dawgs. Kenna Ford and Franee Maher each scored four points.
ACGC 66, Ogden 21
The Chargers improve to 9-4. EmmaKay McClain had 18 points and 10 steals. Alaina Bunde finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds. ACGC outscored Ogden 20-3 in the first quarter and held them scoreless in the 4th.
Audubon 42, Treynor 39
The Wheelers take out the 7th rated team in 2A behind 17 points and 14 rebounds from Jaci Christensen. The Wheelers were 8/11 from the free-throw line. Aleah Hermansen posted 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Johanna Sauers scored 8. Audubon trailed 35-31 going into the final quarter, but held Treynor to just four points in the 4th.
Atlantic 64, Red Oak 39
Haley Rasmussen was Atlantic’s high scorer with 24 points. Tessa Grooms scored 11 while Taylor McCreedy and Jada Jensen each added 10. Atlantic wasted little time in grabbing control of the game. They posted a 15-0 run in the first quarter and led by 30 at the break.
