(Atlantic) Roadways in southwest Iowa are completely covered with snow this morning, according to the latest 511.org road conditions report.
Southwest, central and northeast Iowa are under a Winter Weather Advisory until 3:00 p.m. today. Snow will persist through the morning but gradually end from west to east by late morning into the early afternoon. Moderate accumulations of snow are expected in most areas until mid-afternoon. We have received 3.5 inches of snow at the KSOM/KS95 studios as of 5:00 a.m. this (Saturday) morning.
