(Atlantic) The upcoming Cass County Health System remodel project includes a wide range of updates, expansions and some new construction.
CCHS Chief Financial Officer Abbey Stangl said about a year and a half ago they started working on master facility planning with their board and key stakeholders to identify what the current needs are for the facility and how they can better serve patients.
Stangl said they were excited to announce that the bids came in under projection.
Stangl also noted that the board was very happy to see local and regional companies on the list of approved bids.
Construction is expected to begin immediately and last through 2021.
