(Area) The Iowa DNR is holding learn to hunt courses this fall.
The online classes will begin in October. Bryan Hayes provides more details, “The first one is October 6th and will cover pheasant habitat and biology. That will be followed by an October 13th class that covers hunting strategy and safety and gets into the cleaning and cooking of pheasants.”
The Iowa DNR has teamed with Pheasants Forever for this learning opportunity. “Gives people an opportunity to learn what pheasant hunting is all about and the excitement of pheasant hunting. This is part of a series to get people back into hunting for help new people to pick it up.”
