(Glenwood) The Mills County Public Health Department reports 21 additional cases of COVID-19 in the county from September 15 to September 22. This is up from 11 additional positive cases one week ago.
The county has 170 total positive cases out of 3,482 total tests, and 117 have recovered. The 14-day rolling positivity rate is at 7.4 percent.
The Mills County Public Health Department says contraction of the coronavirus this week is a mixture of known contact and community spread.
Health officials encourage all county residents to be safe and remember it is more important than ever to practice physical distancing and for people not feeling well to stay home.
Additionally, health officials ask the public to wear a mask if it is impossible to social distance with people other than those living in the same household.
