(Harlan) The Shelby County Conservation Board is in need of a few campers to participate in the annual Halloween event at Nishna Bend Recreation Area (halfway between Avoca and Harlan).
The event will be the weekend of October 10. This year’s event will be drive thru so the only thing that campers need to do this year is decorate their campsite and wave at people as they drive through to look at decorations.
Prizes will be awarded for the top two best decorated campsites.
