(Audubon) There is a vacancy for the County Attorney position in Audubon County.
The Supervisors will be reviewing options to fill the void after Sarah Jennings resigned. “She just resigned last week. Her family is from down south and she wants to get closer to her family. She’s done a good job for Audubon County for three years and is just ready to move on and try something else.”
Supervisor’s Chairman Rick Thompson says they’ll be exploring possibilities for a replacement. “We are going to put an ad in the paper and Sarah gave us a couple of websites to get on the Iowa State Association of County Attorney’s so we are going to check that out and hopefully have something locked down in three to four weeks.”
Jennings had two years remaining on her term. Thompson says surrounding counties have shown a willingness to help out on an interim basis.
