(Creston) Creston Police report a theft and alcohol-related arrest in their latest report released this morning.
Police arrested 29-year old Samuel Vermulm of Creston on Friday for 5th-degree theft. Authorities cited Vermulm and released him from the scene on a Summons to Appear.
In a separate case, Police arrested 47-year old Chuck Johnson of Des Moines, at the Law Enforcement Center for Public Intoxication. He is being held in the Union County Jail on a $300 bond.
