(Creston) Creston Police report three arrests and one incident.
Creston Police arrested 19-year old Brandon Monterell Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday, and 18-year old Josiah Ahmad Reed of Sheffield, Alabama, for Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Offense. Thompson posted a bond. Reed is held on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
In another case; Police arrested 34-year old Skylar Allen Rufenacht, of Creston on Friday, for Domestic Abuse Assault W/Intent to Inflict Serious Injury – 1st. Rufenacht is being held in the Union County Jail. No bond until seen by the Judge.
In a separate incident; Merle Lee Pugh, of Crestonreported that between the hours of 12:00 am and 6:59 am, the damage had occurred to his passenger-side mirror. The vehicle was parked in a lot behind a business located near the 200 blocks of N. Elm. Thompson estimates the damage to be $100.
