(Harlan) The Harlan Police Department arrested three people on drug and other charges.
Morgan Ann Schwery, 18, of Harlan, and Faith Marie Howard, 18, of Prairie City, were arrested following a traffic stop on August 12th. Schwery was transported to the Shelby County Jail where she was charged with failure to display license plate, minor in possession of alcohol, minor in possession of tobacco, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prohibited acts penalties. Howard was transported to the Shelby County Jail where she was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Zachary Thomas Scheffler, 34, of Harlan, was arrested following a traffic stop on August 15th. Scheffler was transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and prohibited acts penalties.
Harlan Police also arrested Jeremy Loyd Jolley, 38, of Manning, following a traffic stop on August 16th. Jolley was transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was charged with driving while revoked.
