(Atlantic) The Atlantic Rotary Club has postponed their annual auction until next year.
The annual auction is usually held in November each year. The money raised through the auction goes back into the community.
Ted Robinson, Rotary Club Board Member, updated the Rotary Club Tuesday during their first meeting since March.
“We feel bad about the auction, but it’s one of those things where it takes time to plan the auction and I don’t know where we’re going to be at in November,” said Robinson.
Robinson said there really haven’t been a lot of donation requests since March, and so from a financial standpoint they are doing okay.
Over the past 35 years the Rotary Auction has raised over one million dollars.020
