(Adair) The Page County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 28-year-old Mark Andrew Devine, of College Springs.
Devine was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Sunday on a charge of OWI 1st Offense. The charge came after Devine was stopped approximately two miles east of Clarinda near the intersection of Highway 2 and V Avenue for a minor traffic violation.
Devine failed to stop for the fully marked patrol vehicle with its lights and siren on until reaching the city limits of Clarinda. In addition to the OWI charge, he is cited for excessive speed.
He was transported to the Page County Sheriff’s Jail where he was held on $1,000 bond pending further court appearances.
