(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council honored two longtime City Employees and initiated Atlantic Police Officer Cameron Ward to the rank of Sergeant at the Atlantic City Council meeting on Wednesday.

Sgt. Ward’s father, Omaha Police Officer, Tony Ward pinned the badge on his son’s uniform.
Mayor Jones also recognized Chris Dvorak, for her thirty-years of service with the Atlantic Police Department. Jones stated, “Chris’ years of service is an example of hard work and dedication, and is a critical member of the Atlantic Police Department and Public Safety Team. The City of Atlantic thanks you.”
Mayor Jones also recognized Christa Wiskus for her 20-years of service to the Atlantic Public Library.
