(Adair) A semi-accident on Interstate 80 in Adair County left one man dead and another injured late Tuesday night.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 11:23 p.m. on Eastbound I-80 near the 74-mile marker. Authorities say 26-year old Jagjit Singh of Madera, California died in the crash. The driver, 52-year old Jaspal Singh, of Sacramento, California, suffered injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol says the 2019 Freightliner driven by Jaspal Singh swerved off the road and entered the south ditch and rolled.
Adair County Rescue transported Singh to the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Hockenberry Funeral transported Jagjit Singh to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny.
