(Atlantic) Cass County Auditor Dale Sunderman reported this morning 1,947 absentee ballots sent out for the June 2 Primary election.
Sunderman stated 1,495 returned, leaving 452 still out. Sunderman encouraged voters to cast absentee ballots by mail due to COVID-19.
On Tuesday, polling sites open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m. Cass County reduced the polling locations from 13 to four places.
*Atlantic Wards; 1 and 8, Brighton, Grove, Pymosa, Washington Township, and Marne Township will vote at the Cass County Community Center. Additionally, voters residing in Atlantic Wards; 2-through 5 will also vote at the Cass County Community Center.
*Voters in the townships of Bear Grove, Cass, Edna, Victoria, and Noble, Pleasant, and the towns of Griswold and Lewis will vote at the Griswold Community Building.
*Residents living in Benton and Franklin Townships, Massena residents, and 13 Union Township and the City of Cumberland will vote at the Cumberland Community Building.
Each voter is required to provide identification at the polling place before the voter receives a ballot. Anyone who is physically unable to enter a polling place has the right to vote from their vehicle.
