(Atlantic) Atlantic Parks and Recreation Board members are leaning toward not opening the Sunnyside Pool this summer; but an official decision has not been made.
Atlantic Parks and Recreation Director Bryant Rasmussen presented information to the Park Board Monday evening about the CDC guidelines and what it would take to open back up.
Many of the board members expressed their concerns with opening the pool.

In the end, the Board decided to wait for further guidance from Governor Reynolds.
In other news, the Board gave their approval to open up the Dog Park. Signs will be posted reminding users about social distancing guidelines. The Board also gave their approval to let residents use the basketball courts and play pickleball as long as they bring their own equipment and follow social distancing guidelines.
Bryant Rasmussen also noted that there are still some raised beds available in the Community Garden to rent.
