(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health Department reported 15 additional cases of COVID-19 in Crawford County, bringing the total number of positive cases to 191. The IDPH reports one other case of COVID-19 in Pottawattamie County, bringing the total number of positive cases to 86. The total number of positive cases in RMCC Region four is now 281.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds says they’ve been monitoring an increase in virus activity in Crawford County, where the state opened another test site on Saturday.
The other counties in Region 4 remained the same as of Monday morning. Shelby County, 19, Harrison, 17, Audubon and Page counties ten positive cases each. Mills County reports eight positive cases thus far, Montgomery County, 4, Fremont and Cass counties one each, and Adams County no-cases.
There are six patients hospitalized, one individual admitted in the past 24 hours, and three patients in ICU, and no patients on ventilators.
Region 4 has 185 total inpatient beds available and 34 ICU beds available.
