(Des Moines) Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced today 408 new positive cases of COVID-19, for a total of 10,111 positive cases.
Nearly 80 percent of today’s positive cases are from the 22 counties where restrictions remain in place. 261 of the 408 new positive cases are in Polk and Woodbury counties.
19 additional deaths have been reported, for a statewide total of 207.
There are 3,000 new negative cases for a total of 50,458.
60,569 total tests have been conducted for a per capita rate of 1 in every 52 Iowans who have been tested.
3,572 Iowans that were diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered, for a recovery rate of 35 percent.
