(Greenfield) Football and softball vacancies have been filled at Nodaway Valley. On Friday evening, Activities Director Michael Dale issued a press release in regards to the new hires.
Duane Matthess will take over the football program. He becomes the 4th head coach of Nodaway Valley football in the last four years. Matthess previously coached at Clarke.
Abbey Queck replaces Carol Baudler as head softball coach. Queck played at both Indian Hills Community College and South Dakota State. The Orient native is an Earlham graduate, winning a state title with the Cardinals. Queck spent last season as an assistant at Lenox and also has experience coaching at the club level with Iowa Premier.
