(Iowa City) Three time All-American wrestler Michael Kemerer will be back with the Iowa Hawkeyes for another season. Kemerer redshirted his first season and missed his entire junior season with an injury. He announced Sunday that the NCAA has granted him a 6th year.
Kemerer was one of nine Hawkeye wrestlers to earn First Team All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association this season.
At the time the wrestling season was cancelled, Kemerer was ranked #2 in the nation at 174 pounds and had a record of 15-1.
