Iowa High School Baseball and Softball Start Dates Delayed

(State) The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union announced on Friday that baseball and softball practices will not begin on May 4th as previously planned.

The new starting date for practice is May 18th. June 1st is the first date for competition.

The move will create fewer conflicts with spring sports which have been extended into the month of June.
