2019 Football
The Chargers went 6-3 which was two more wins then they’d had in the previous three years combined. They broke several school rushing records and very, very narrowly missed out on making the playoffs. Linemen Quynton Younker and Sam Madsen have both signed with Grand View.

2019 Cross Country
One of the biggest highlights was their home meet where they nearly recorded a perfect score. ACGC won the Charger Invite on September 26th with 17 points. They occupied eight spots in the top ten. Trevin Suhr won the meet, Ben Young was the runner-up, and Miles Kading came in 3rd. Justin Reinhart, Eli Kading, and Kaden Thompson finished 5th-7th, respectively.
Winter Sports
2019-20 Wrestling
ACGC qualified as a team for the regional duals as the Class 1A Sectional 13 Champions. They had seven individual district qualifiers. The Chargers sent Seth Danker, Gunnar Larsen, and Gabe Rowley to the state tournament. Larsen and Danker will each have an opportunity to become three time state qualifiers next year.

2019-20 Basketball
It was the first season in their brief history with double digit wins at 10-13. The ten victories were more than they’d had in their previous two years combined. Their best stretch came in the three weeks right after holiday break when they won five of seven games. Seniors Bryce Littler and Quynton Younker each surpassed 900 career points.

Spring
2019 Golf
McKlain Jorgensen posted the lowest 9 hole average on the team at 51.00 followed by Gunnar Larsen at 53.20 and Spencer Grove at 55.0
2019 Track
Dylan Soper had a strong season in the sprints with season best times of 11.35 in the 100 and 23.62 in the 200. Clay Billheimer was able to break 2:00 in the 800 for the first time at the state meet and also ran bests of 54.76 in the 400 and 4:34.88 in the 1600 throughout the season. Dubuque commit Austin Wierick had a breakout year as a 400 meter runner and submitted a PR of 55.78 in that event. Freshmen Charlie Crawford and Cayden Jensen each reached 19 feet in the long jump while juniors Quynton Younker, Sam Madsen, and Bryce Littler made big gains in the throws.

2019 Baseball
Four of the team’s five wins came in a stretch from late June to early July as they showed improvement throughout the season. They won three of their last four regular season games.
