(Lenox) Lenox senior Drew Venteicher is going to continue his wrestling career at the college level.
Venteicher chose Loras over Wartburg, Grand View, and Morningside. “After many visits I felt a very special bond with the coaches and teammates that really drew me there.”
At Loras he’ll join his brother Derek who went 24-13 as sophomore last year. “It played a little bit of a factor. I’m not going to choose my college decision based on where my brother is at, but it was definitely a perk. The team aspect, everyone cares there including the professors. Their coaches are super good.”
For Bedford/Lenox, Venteicher placed 3rd at state as a junior and 4th as a senior. He was a three-time state qualifier and posted a record for 109-10 over the last three years.
