(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports three arrests and two incidents.
Rodney Earl Bell, 57, was arrested February 25th at his residence on two outstanding warrants through Union County. He was held in the Union County Jail on $2,000 bond.
Michael Eugene Matherly, 33, was arrested February 25th for Assault on a Police Officer stemming from an incident in the 300 block of N Spruce. Matherly was held in the Union County Jail on $1,000 bond.
Jay Eldon Rains, 46, was arrested February 25th for Violation of a No Contact Order. Rains was taken into custody and after seeing the magistrate he was released on his own recognizance.
Michael Camancho reported February 21st that his garage had been broken into. Items missing included various drywall tools, various electronic equipment, some mail and other miscellaneous items valued at approximately $400.
Matthew Rouh reported February 23rd that sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. someone vandalized his vehicle, making large scratches in the paint while it was parked outside his home.
