(Fremont County) One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Fremont County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 11:24 a.m. on Monday at 120th Street in the 2900 block. Authorities’ say 34-year old Justin Michael Evans, of Randolph, died in the crash.
According to the report, Evans was driving eastbound on 120th Street and for unknown reasons crossed the centerline into westbound traffic and collided with a 1996 Freightliner semi driven by 42-year old Trevor John Whipple of Northboro.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, Tabor Fire and Rescue, Randolph Fire and Rescue, Sidney Fire and Rescue and Darnold’s Towing.
