(Audubon) The Audubon and Coon Rapids-Bayard School Districts have both voted to continue sharing Superintendent, Human Resources, Transportation Director and Elementary School Counselor.
The Audubon School Board took action on the item at their meeting Monday evening.
“Those sharing positions are working well and adding value to both districts so we’re going to continue with those,” said Superintendent Eric Trager. The Superintendent sharing is a three-year agreement that started in FY20, but the other positions are year-by-year agreements.
In other activity, the Board set March 11th during their regular meeting to hold a public hearing for the School Calendar.
And, the board approved offering their non-certified staff health insurance going forward. Trager said that will apply to their associates and their cooks. He said hopefully this will help attract and retain quality people.
