(Oakland) Riverside’s Ashlynn Amdor is averaging 11.4 points per game and has been relied on heavily for an inexperienced Lady Dawgs basketball squad. Amdor leads the team assists, steals, three-pointers made, three-point percentage, free-throws made, and free-throws made this year. She’s been a four year starter recently topped 600 career points.
Amdor has also enjoyed success in volleyball and softball and is a dual-sport athlete in the spring with soccer and track. This past fall Riverside experienced a breakout year in volleyball and Amdor was a big part of it. She contributed 170 digs and was a 90.8% server with 37 aces. The softball program has 34 games the past two years. Amdor, a centerfielder who bats leadoff, hit .307 last summer. She scored 22 runs and stole 13 bases.
