(Atlantic) Logan-Magnolia won all three matches at the Atlantic/CAM quadrangular on Tuesday night. The Panthers defeated Atlantic/CAM 41-34 in the marque matchup against two ranked dual teams.
Logan-Magnolia won eight of the 14 matches, with five falls, one Technical Fall, and two decisions, (one in overtime). Atlantic/CAM won six matches including four falls,(one in overtime), one major decision, and one forfeit.
“We lost a close dual to a really good team and so tip your cap to Logan-Magnolia,” said Atlantic/CAM Head Coach Tim Duff. “They got us tonight and we can learn from those matches and get better. That’s why we want to wrestle Logan-Magnolia, we know they’re a good team and that’s where you find out what you need to work on and where you’re at.
“It’s a long season, it’s one dual, and we’ll see if we can improve and get better,” said Duff. “I was proud of our kids effort, we just didn’t have it tonight.”
The Trojans also defeated OABCIG, 63-15, and Woodbine, 78-6. Lo-Ma topped OABCIG, 60-24 and Woodbine, 66-18.
