(Clarinda) The Page County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding the person(s) responsible for bullets striking a house in rural Page County.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened on December 22 at 1465 Highway 2. The residents heard something strike the house and discovered the bullets struck a chair inside the home.
Authorities say it appears someone (s) shot the .40 caliber bullets at a road sign along Highway 2. The ammo traveled through the sign and penetrated the residence. Evidence was sent to the DCI Crime Lab for further analysis and possibly identifying the suspect(s).

The case is eligible for the Crime Stoppers program. A reward of up to $1,000.00 will be given to the person providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this incident. The caller can remain anonymous.
