(Red Oak) A Red Oak man was arrested Friday on a Red Oak Police Department warrant for Forcible Sexual Assault in the 3rd Degree. The Red Oak Police Department says 41-year-old Matthew Walter Riley was also arrested on a warrant for Burglary in the 2nd Degree and Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault.
The Forcible Sexual Assault in the 3rd Degree charge comes as a result of a lengthy investigation into an incident that occurred in August of 2018. The Burglary 2nd Degree and Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault charges also stem from a case in August of 2018, but happened at a different time with a different victim.
Riley was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he was held on no bond.
