Cold Weather Advisory Today, and Tuesday

(Des Moines) Bitterly cold temperatures are forecast through Tuesday, with dangerous wind chills on Monday and Tuesday morning. The National Weather Service issued a Cold Weather Advisory until 11:00 a.m. today. The second Cold Weather Advisory runs from 6:00 p.m. this evening to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Wind Chills as low as 20 to 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
