Stargazing at Prairie Rose

Join Shelby County Conservation at Prairie Rose State Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16 for some stargazing.  Meet in the west campground near the dam trail head.  We will walk on to the dam to get away from lights, identify stars and constellations and talk about their stories.  A green laser pointer will be used to point at the stars.  This pointer looks like it touches the stars.  We also hope to see some meteors from the Geminid meteor shower.  Please dress for the weather.
