Winter Survival: How Animals Brave the Cold

How do animals survive the cold winter?  Want to see if you would survive if you were an animal in the great outdoors during the winter?  Join Shelby County Conservation on Saturday, March 22 at 9:30 a.m. at the Prairie Rose Park Office.  We will make animals (little containers of liquid Jello), find a good place for your animal, and see if they survive (stay liquid or turn to Jello).  All materials will be provided.  Please dress for the weather.  We will be outside for the program.
