(Des Moines) The Iowa Department of Public Health reported five more deaths and 620 additional positive cases of COVID-19 statewide.
The IDPH says as of 10:00 a.m. today, the positivity rate was 9.3-percent, which is 1.8-percent higher than Saturday’s report, with 48,732 confirmed positive tests and 37,086 individuals have recovered, bringing the total number of positive cases currently, at 11,726.
Today, 221 Iowans hospitalized, 57 are in ICU, and 32 patients admitted in the past 24 hours. That’s nine less than on Saturday.
