(Atlantic) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports a scam going around again where the caller claims to be a law enforcement official. The caller will tell you your social security number has been stolen. They also tell you there is a vehicle in your name in another state that was found that was involved in drugs and that there is blood in the vehicle. The scammers will then try to obtain personal information from you.
Remember, this is a scam. Do not give out any of your personal information.
