(Monona Co.) One person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Monona County.
The Iowa State Patrol says 65-year-old Timothy Dahms, of Hornick, was fatally injured. 18-year-old Elijah Oregon, of Oto, was transported to Burgess Hospital to be treated for injuries.
According to the report, the accident occurred at around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday. Elijah Oregon and Timothy Dahms were both traveling westbound on County Road E-16. Oregon, who was driving a 2010 Honda Accord, struck the rear of the ATV Dahms was operating. The ATV then left the roadway and came to rest in the north ditch.
