Eva Mae Shannon, 91, of Murray she passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, at Spring Hill Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa.
Celebration of Life Service: Will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Osceola, Iowa. Father Chris Resinger will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Murray Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com. The Steen Funeral Home of Greenfield is in charge of professional arrangements. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing will be practiced and the family encourages you to wear a mask at the visitation and service.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Saturday morning at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Osceola from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Memorials: May be directed to the Eva Marie Shannon memorial fund to be established by the family.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband of 72 years Charles Shannon, Daughter, Judy (Larry) Wood of Greenfield, IA, son David (Ronda) Shannon of Murray, IA, daughter Donna (Steve) Morey of West Bend, IA and son Bruce (Peggy) Shannon of Murray, IA Sister Patricia(James) Anderson of Murray, IA and brother Eugene of Des Moines. 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
