(Ames) The Iowa Department of Transportation is proposing a construction project on Highway 59 south of Denison, and public input is requested.
The project includes repairing roadway concrete pipe culverts in five locations from 1.45 miles north of Crawford County Road E-54 to 1.5 miles north of Crawford County Road E-53. Some areas will require additional right-of-way for the culverts and drainage. The construction of the proposed project could begin in 2022.
Through traffic on Highway 59 will be maintained at all times.
