(Harlan) The Harlan Community Board of Education is accepting applications for the District 6 seat.
Harlan Schools Superintendent Lynn Johnson says Tara Devlin-Lawler currently fills that seat, however, she’s taken a new position with Myrtue Medical as a therapist, and will be working in the Harlan Elementary Schools. Johnson says Tara felt she should separate from the board for that reason.
The board is accepting applications for the District 6 seat for review at the July 27th board meeting. The board may take action on the issue at the meeting.
