(Harlan) A Council Bluffs man was arrested following a pursuit in Shelby County Saturday.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says a Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations along Highway F58 and Juniper Road when the pursuit ensued. The pursuit ended along Interstate 80 around the 8 mile-marker after authorities were successfully able to deploy stop sticks. 27-year-old Jamie William Tressler was charged with Felony Eluding, Reckless Driving and additional traffic violations. Upon further investigation, Tressler was charged with Theft 2nd and Burglary 3rd. Tressler was transported to the Shelby County Jail where he was held on $15,000 cash or surety bond.
In other activity, the Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan Michael Carter, 35, of Irwin on June 28th after authorities were called to a residence along F24 for a disturbance. Upon further investigation, Carter was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense and Obstruction of Emergency Communication. Carter was transported to the Jail without incident and held under no bond pending an initial appearance before the Magistrate. Carter was released later that evening on his own recognizance.
Donald Allan Sondag, 57, of Portsmouth, was arrested June 25th after traffic complaints were called in. Authorities made contact with Sondag in Portsmouth and he was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated 1st offense. Sondag was transported to the Jail without incident and released the following morning on his own recognizance.
Connor Patrick Green, 23, of Harlan, turned himself into authorities on June 24th on warrant for Theft 2nd-of a motor vehicle. Green was processed into the Shelby County Jail and released a short time later on his own recognizance. He was given a future court date from the Magistrate.
Shelby County Deputies arrested two females following a traffic stop on June 20th. Miranda Marie Shamblin, 22, of Harlan, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Prohibited Acts, and Driving While License Suspended. A passenger in the vehicle, Melissa Suzanna Fuller, 33, of Irwin, was also arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Prohibited Acts. Both parties were transported to the Shelby County Jail without incident and released the following morning on their own recognizance and given future court date.
Michael Lee Durand, 39, of Shelby was arrested following for a traffic stop in Shelby along Station Street on June 19th. Durand was placed under arrest and charged with Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense. Durand was transported without further incident to the jail where was held under a $2,000 cash or surety bond.
