(Greenfield) The Adair County Courthouse will keep the doors closed for a while longer. The Department Heads discussed the reopening of the courthouse this morning.
County Auditor Mandy Berg says the courthouse doors will remain locked for the time being. However, people can still do business at the facility. Upon arrival, those individuals need to call the office of interest, and they will be allowed inside that particular agency one at a time. Berg says those individuals entering the courthouse must answer a few questions, and someone will take their temperature.
“We’re still concerned and not sure where this is all going, and how reopening would affect numbers,” said Berg. “We’re trying to protect courthouse employees and the citizens of our County.
Berg says they will continue working at the west entrance window. Berg says the Board of Supervisors will continue to address the matter and make changes as needed.
