(Guthrie Center) Jotham Arber, Guthrie County Public Health and Environmental Health Director, spoke to the Board of Supervisors this week about Saturday services for the Transfer Station.
Guthrie County Auditor Dani Fink explained, “Previously, before COVID-19 kind of shut everything down, they were open every Saturday in the mornings and so they decided that they are going to open for a full day, once per month, and that will begin Saturday, June 13, and they’ll just kind of try this out for the remainder of the year and they’ll do the second Saturday of every month for a full day.”
In other activity, Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman announced that all camping areas opened up Friday along with bathhouses, shelter houses and playgrounds. The Guthrie County Historical Village also opened on Friday with some regulations.
